Sample project in Alanya
As a part of the project “Disabled Tourism City Alanya” established already in 2011, the first shops were now rebuilt for disabled people. The first example is the store Defacto in the city of Alanya. Here wheelchair ramps were built, lifts and changing rooms for disabled. Even the shop windows were redecorated; there you can now find mannequins in wheelchairs.
The municipality of Alanya already has been working tirelessly on the expansion and renovation of the city for our disabled citizens. This is a unique project, which should be an example for many other cities in Turkey.
