Alanya, Avsallar
Avsallar is a neighborhood of Alanya district of Antalya province. The distance to Alanya is 25 km. Its distance to Antalya is 105 km. People believe that Avsallar was founded by a group of Oghuz Turks belonging to the Avshar tribe from Kencek Senir (a historical settlement in Talas Province of Kyrgyzstan) in the 15th century. That is why the name Avsallar is a form of Avsharlar. The earlier settlement was to the north of the present Avsallar. In 1843 following a fire, the people moved to present location. In 1986 Avsallar became a township.
The fine sandy beach in this area is perfect for families with children. They gave the name of the nearest beach Incekum (fine sand). It is a quite area with a blossoming center and favourized by not only locals but by residents around Europe. Avsallar is connected to the local transportation system so you can reach Alanya City Center easily. The upper part of Avsallar is surrounded by forrests. You can smell the pines everywhere.
